They include Ismael Alvarez, Urko Mugartegi, Stefania Giordano and Jon Abad in the dining room; Adrian Leonelli, chef de cuisine with Marc Mañosa and Javier del Blanco.
The desire of the team at Nerua is to have the restaurant ranked in a prominent position as a reference for local, national and international cuisine. Incorporating the rich culinary culture of the Basque Country onto the haute cuisine circuit is key in our work, without forgetting the main core objective of our service: that the customer enjoys a memorable dining experience
The artist Jeff Koons, creator of one of the signature pieces of work in the Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao, as Puppy is, refers to art as something that is not an object, but rather in the mind of the observer.
This same line of thought is what the restaurant Nerua wishes to convey, getting visitors to create their own dining experience, making the means to do so accessible to the diner.
Our language originates in reflection, coupled with innovation, and is transferred to all aspects of the restaurant, integrating the senses.
